The West Oxfordshire Business ACCELERATOR programme is a bespoke package of enhanced and accelerated support for established and trading small businesses in the district.
Delivered through a series of high-impact group sessions, businesses meet on zoom for 3 weeks to explore problems, collaborate, and share knowledge. The topics covered are chosen by participants – each week one participant shares the issue or challenge of their choice, followed by a facilitated discussion and sharing from Peers.

The group will meet weekly on zoom on Tuesday between 5:00pm and 7:00pm.

Paula Nickson began her career in science and engineering before moving into over 20 years of leadership and business innovation in large public, private, 3rd sector and SMEs. Having been CEO of a successful social enterprise she now runs her own coaching and consultancy practice which is celebrating its 10th birthday this year. Paula has supported hundreds of business owners across many sectors. Experience tells her that getting the best from business comes from being authentic and investing in understanding what makes you, your people, and your market tick.
Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) scheme
The Growth Hub programme operates a Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) scheme. All SMEs which receive support under this programme are being aided under the UK Subsidy Control Act (2022) and The Subsidy Control (Gross Cash Amount and Gross Cash Equivalent) Regulations (2022 No. 1186).
MFA allows a beneficiary to receive up to £315,000 of Subsidy over a three-fiscal year period (i.e. the current and previous two fiscal years). The value of MFA given is the gross cash amount or the gross cash equivalent of the subsidy. The MFA value of this webinar is £2172.00.
